The Association for Preservation Technology (APT) is pleased to facilitate educational travel opportunities for APT International and APT Chapter members with Assorestauro, a specialized Italian preservation association. Following a successful program in 2022, Assorestaura has arranged the next tour for the Spring of 2025.
Grand Tour Restauro in Italy March 23-28, 2025 APT will be providing this basic information from registrants and all deposits to Assorestauro, and they will complete the reservation process and will be the source of all information for the trip.
The trip is currently full, but we have started a waiting list. If you wish to add your name to the waiting list, please complete this brief form.
To reserve your spot on the March 23-28, 2025 tour, a deposit of $250 is required for each person with form submission for single occupancy, $500 for double occupancy.
Single occupancy - per person, based on single room occupancy total price: $2,550.00
Double occupancy - per person, based on double room occupancy total price: $2,150.00
Who Should Attend? Priority registration is for APT International and APT Chapter Members themselves, but a limited number of spouses, partners, significant others, and traveling companions will be allowed at the double occupancy rate. Because of the intensive schedule and educational focus of the itinerary, only double occupancy guests who are also preservation professionals will be permitted. Each attendee must stay with the group and participate in all tours and activities. Past attendees will attest to the fact that this is not the type of trip for a partner to tag along and go shopping, etc.
Important Dates
- August 2: Last day to cancel and have deposit refunded.
- August 31: Last day to pay full balance.
- September 30: Last day to register if trip is not full by this date (if needed, a waiting list will be created). If booking after August 31, payment will be needed in full at time of reservation.
- December 1: Last day to cancel and receive partial refund.
- March 23-28: Travel in Italy.
Cancellation If this trip is cancelled due insufficient participation or other logistical reasons attributable to APT or Assorestauro, payments will be refunded. Refunds to those who voluntarily choose to withdraw their registration will be refunded according to the guidelines below.
- If APT is notified by August 2, full refund. To receive a refund on your deposit, you must notify APT by email to [email protected] that you do not plan to attend by July 31.
- If registrant cancels before or on December 1, one half of total payment will be refunded.
- If registrant cancels after December 1, no refund will be issued.
- Regardless of notification date, if we are able to fill your space(s) from the waiting list, your payment will be refunded minus a $500 administrative fee.
